Bahn Joins The Peacock Group

Named public relations manager

The Peacock Group (TPG) is proud to announce the hiring of Chris Bahn as public relations manager for its growing strategic communications team. As a strategic storyteller with nearly 30 years of experience, Bahn's professional background includes print journalism, marketing and custom publishing.

"We are thrilled to welcome Chris to The Peacock Group, as his extensive experience and diverse skill set will be invaluable additions to our team," said Denver Peacock, APR, TPG founder and principal. "His impressive background, combined with his track record of working with a wide range of clients, will undoubtedly elevate our capacity to serve our clients effectively. We're excited about the expertise and fresh perspective he brings, and we're eager to see the positive impact he will make as we continue to grow and meet our clients' needs."

In addition to more than two decades as an award-winning print journalist, Chris has worked with a diverse group of clients, ranging from financial institutions and universities to economic development entities and nonprofit organizations, to create and deploy comprehensive, highly customized communications solutions.

Before joining TPG, Chris was publisher of business special publications and custom publishing at Arkansas Business Publishing Group (ABPG), the state's largest niche media and marketing company. There, he collaborated with ABPG's sales, editorial, design and distribution teams to produce 15 magazine titles per year while working to support the content and strategic needs of clients.

A 1999 graduate of Arkansas State University with bachelor’s degrees in news-editorial journalism and political science, he previously spent 21 years as a journalist, telling the stories of some of the state's most beloved and revered institutions, from the Arkansas Razorbacks and Walmart Inc. to J.B. Hunt and Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.

Chris serves on the executive committee of the Salvation Army of Central Arkansas, where he also chairs the resource development committee. He is an active member of Rotary Club of Little Rock, serving as the 2022-23 programming committee chair, and he formerly served as vice-chair of Family Promise of Pulaski County.

He and his wife, Rebecca, live in Little Rock with their son Kirkpatrick and are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their son Benjamin in February 2024.
