The Peacock Group Wins 15 Arkansas PRSA Prism Awards, Including Bob Sells Best of Show Award

The Peacock Group (TPG) was awarded 15 prestigious industry awards, including the night’s top honor, by the Arkansas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). PRSA awards honor outstanding contributions to the public relations profession.

The TPG team was humbled to celebrate its work on behalf of its incredible clients, surrounded by friends and colleagues. The 2024 awards ceremony, held Thursday, Sept. 19, in downtown Little Rock, recognized exceptional public relations campaigns in Arkansas.

"I am incredibly proud of our team and the exceptional work we produce together,” said Denver Peacock, founder and principal of TPG. “Receiving these prestigious awards, including the Bob Sells Best of Show Award for the second straight year, is a testament to the incredible impactful work of our clients. We are deeply grateful for their trust and partnership."

TPG received the highly sought-after Bob Sells Best of Show Award for its special event planning for the inclusion of the Every Mother Counts documentary "Giving Birth in America: Arkansas" in the Bentonville Film Festival.

Founded in 2010 by Christy Turlington Burns, Every Mother Counts is a nonprofit whose mission is to make pregnancy and childbirth safe, equitable and respectful for every mother, everywhere. Through its "Giving Birth in America" docuseries, EMC shares the stories of mothers, health care providers and community-based caregivers to demonstrate the maternal health crisis in the U.S. Since Arkansas has the highest maternal mortality rate in the nation, in 2021, EMC chose the Natural State for its next film. By early 2023, EMC was ready to release its Arkansas-based short film and hired TPG to help with the world premiere in Arkansas. As part of a larger statewide initiative, including a two-day launch tour in Little Rock, TPG oversaw a two-part event series in Northwest Arkansas to increase awareness of Arkansas's maternal health and mortality crisis and inspire critical conversations for change.

Winning this award was especially meaningful because it is named in honor of the late Bob Sells, a local PR legend and grandfather of TPG’s Allyson Pittman Gattin. Additionally, these honors were earned during the agency’s 10th anniversary year.
